Beautiful quality of fabric but short on filling for my liking. Upon opening the box I knew the neck support pillow would not be firm enough but because so many reviewers said they needed to remove some of the filling I thought i’d try it out. But yes, I need it to be more firm and I think I would also prefer the large size instead of the medium. Understanding that I cannot return the product used, I ordered the large neck support pillow, and a small bag of filling. I hope the small bag of filling will be enough if the large pillow also needs additional for my comfort. I intend to use the large for sleeping and the medium for sivasana. tmi?? Beautifully made!
Thank you for planting trees! xoxoxo
I bought this bolster pillow because I was having trouble finding a pillow that supported my neck but didn't push hard against my ear. (Due to a long bedrest stay in the hospital, I can no longer stand something pushing hard against my ear.)
This has been a great blessing. I put it inside my pillowcase with my soft regular pillow so that it is placed right where my neck is. My regular pillow supports my head softly and the bolster supports my neck. At first, the bolster was a little too hard, so I removed about half of the buckwheat hulls. Ahhh! Perfect! I sleep so much better without tossing and turning much; I wake up less too. I save the extra hulls in a plastic zipper bag so I can add, subtract or replace them as needed.
The hulls stay how you put them. If they are pushing a bit too much against my throat, I just use my finger flat against the pillow and push a slight indent in the pillow. It stays that way for the rest of the night. I couldn't ask for more responsiveness.
