How Do You Clean a Bean Bag Chair?
Cleaning depends on the chair’s cover and construction. A washable outer cover does not mean the filled liner or the entire chair is machine washable.
For everyday cleaning
- Vacuum surface dust and crumbs with a suitable upholstery attachment.
- Test any permitted mild cleaner on a hidden area first.
- For a small mark, blot gently with a lightly damp cloth without soaking the filling.
- Remove cleaner residue as needed and allow the area to dry completely.
For a removable cover
Remove it while keeping the fill contained in its liner. Wash and dry according to the cover label, then refit it only when completely dry. Do not machine wash or saturate loose beads, foam, or latex unless the specific product instructions expressly permit that method. Check seams and close all safety closures before use.
