Shipping Policy
All orders ship directly from our Chicago location unless otherwise noted.
Processing and Shipping Times
Most orders are manufactured and processed within 2–3 business days.
Please allow up to 5 business days for your order to ship.
Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.
Orders placed on weekends or holidays will begin processing on the next business day.
Custom embroidery may add 1–2 business days to the normal processing time.
Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information when available.
Returns
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. You have 30 days from the date your order is delivered to request a return authorization. Returns requested after 30 days cannot be accepted.
Before returning an item, please contact orders@beanproducts.com for authorization and return instructions.
Return Eligibility and Exclusions
Returned items must be unused, in their original condition and include their original packaging.
The following items cannot be returned:
Used items
Embroidered, personalized or customized items
Clearance or final-sale items
Items damaged or missing parts for reasons unrelated to our error
Items returned more than 30 days after delivery

Hygiene-sensitive products, including pillows and shower curtains, may only be returned when they are unused and in their original packaging.
Customized items are final sale unless we made an error or the item arrived damaged or defective. If we made a mistake, please contact us so we can correct it.
When requesting a return, please include your order number and the billing and shipping addresses associated with the order.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you whether the refund has been approved.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 3–5 business days. Your bank or credit-card provider may require additional time to post the refund.
If you have not received an approved refund after allowing time for it to be processed and posted, please contact orders@beanproducts.com.
Return Shipping
Please contact orders@beanproducts.com before returning an item. In most cases, we will provide a prepaid return label.
If the return is due to our error, including a damaged, defective or incorrect item, we will cover the return shipping cost.
If the return is due to customer preference or a change of mind, the cost of the prepaid return label will be deducted from the refund.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the item arrived damaged, defective or was shipped incorrectly.
I have tried every pillow out there I think except for this one until now. My neck still bothered me but this pillow is soft enough to be comfortable yet firm enough to alleviate my neck pain. I hope it continues to do so. I am very happy so far.
Ordered the roll pillow thinking it was filled with buckwheat hull but it was not. I asked to send it back for an exchange, but they said it had to be returned and then new one reordered. It cost over 16 dollars to ship it back. I got no shipping reprieve for the new order. Instead a 10% discount. Not happy with this process. Hate to compare with Amazon experience on returns as I'd like to support independent businesses; but I'm paying more for shipping than the product. Not reordering from them again. Sorry. Could do better.
I love love love my new pillow! I ordered 2 more and I’m over the moon about how sustainable and clean it truly is. You open it and right away you notice no chemical smell! It’s great! I’ve gotten the best sleep with this pillow and I know it has to do with the fact it’s clean and the filler just forms perfectly to how you need it to be to get optimal sleep and support. Love my Kapok filled sleep pillow, I gladly recommend it to everyone, wish you’d make kapok lightly filled quilted organic cotton travel throw like maybe 40x60 inches.
The pillow is so hard on the face, doesn't conform to shoulder or head, customer service is lacking. Also, the pillow doesn't come in a bag to return, just shrink-wrapped?
After more than 30 years of living in the US, I finally found this 100% Kapok-filled pillow. I ordered two king-size pillows for me and my wife, and each pillow weighed approximately 3.1 lbs. However, it feels flat when you lay your head on it (as the Kapok moves the sides). I called Bean Products and expressed my concerns, and they immediately sent me additional Kapok fibers. With the additional Kapok fibers, each king-size pillow now weighs 4.5 lbs., which is just perfect for me and my wife. Thank you very much Bean Products for a great pillow and very efficient customer service. I will surely be promoting your products to friends and relatives.
After trying cotton, wool, recycled plastic, and down, I can say with no hesitation that kapok makes the best pillow by far. Bean’s pillows come in great sizes and are a great value. The cats love them too.
I had to let the pillow air out a few days before using it, as the aroma, just unpacked was just too strong. Unpacking it was a chore: it was wrapped into a ball with layers of packing tape. Took a while to remove it without cutting into the pillow itself. It seemed nice and cushy once unwrapped, but that cushiness disappeared as soon as my head hit it. After 3 days of trying it, I had to give up. My neck was so stiff I could hardly turn my head. And then I read the return policy: no return on pillows once used. Hard to tell if a pillow fits without using it, isn't it.
These smaller-sized kapok pillows are perfect for us. They are very well made and have exactly the right amount of fill. They are a great value at Bean Products’ price.
Very soft yet maintains a firm shape so that your head doesnt sink through the pillow. Reassuring to know that materials used are natural. Also keeps the head cool and doesnt absorb musty smells. It’s been great.
I love that these are organic. I feel good about my kids laying and sleeping on them. They are soft and high quality. This is the second time we've purchased these pillows.
This was a replacement pillow for another pair that I bought about 4 years ago. The 2 originals had gotten sort of squashed down so that they did not have enough support, so I combined most of the kapok from the 2 into one pillow, which now works just fine; and bought a single new Kapok pillow. I really like the soft light feeling of these pillows. I always thought I would not be able to do without down, but these, actually are better, and I don't have to feel bad about killing birds. I will continue to seek organic kapok when I need pillows, and will also probably look into the possibility of a kapok comforter (do they make them?)
Very happy with our pillow. Thrilled to bits there is good alternative to down. I intend to order more, however, I won't recommend your product to others unless you take the word "vegan" out of your marketing - or at least reduce the copious use of the word. The vegans are just as bad as the christian evangelicals only more aggressive. I'm fed up with them.
Pillow had less fill than expected; it was pretty flat. They sent me more fill free of charge! Love that the pillows are sustainable but there is so much plastic and tape in the shipping, it almost defeats the purpose.
Pillows are wonderful -- firm but yet somehow soft at the same time. I haven't used them for very long but so far I am happy with my purchase. Shipping was fast but the package seemed to strangely get stuck at Fed Ex.
I was a little worried about what a kapok filled pillow would feel like, but it is so sturdy and soft. The filling doesn't clump or break apart. I love that you can remove the filling to wash the case as I've got kids and accidents happen.
I wanted a square size with sustainable material that actually supported my head without the inside stuffing being displaced. I ordered the 16 x16 and it is perfect for me. Well constructed with the option of removing or adding stuffing to suit preferences this pillow exceeds my expectations. The seller shipped fast - thank you.

Very comfy pillow! When I press down it squashed and rose similar to down! Once I put my head on it I actually ending up napping. Its a lovely pillow, made with quality materials. Love the thickness of the pillowcase that comes with it. So nice to know I have a natural pillow that feels nice and looks nice. Very fast delivery and so nice to find natural and organic pillow forms. I bought the kapok filled pillow form and it's very comfortable. I actually took some of the kapok out, which is another nice feature - you can make it as firm or soft as you like.
