How Do You Refill a Bean Bag Chair?

Refill only a chair designed to be opened and refilled. Follow its instructions and match the existing fill type; there is no universal quantity for every chair.

Refill in small amounts

1. Fluff the chair first to see whether redistribution restores its shape.
2. Set up a contained work area away from children, pets, fans, and wind.
3. Open the fill enclosure as instructed, keeping the outer cover separate if the chair has a liner.
4. Add a small amount of compatible fill with a suitable funnel or controlled opening.
5. Close the enclosure, redistribute the fill, and test the feel. Repeat only if needed.
6. Secure every zipper or locking closure exactly as designed and clean up all loose fill.

Stop using the chair if seams or closures are damaged. Never substitute a makeshift closure for its safety mechanism.
