How Often Should I Rotate or Fluff the Dog Bed?
Fluff as needed when the bed looks uneven or compressed. The cotton shredded-foam bed’s care instructions recommend a quick shake to help the fill regain loft; there is no fixed schedule for every dog.
An easy routine
- Check the bed during regular cleaning.
- With your pet off the bed, gently shake or knead it to redistribute loose filling.
- Rotate the bed so the same end does not always receive the most pressure.
- Check that the cover and zipper remain secure before returning it to use.
Frequent use may require more attention than occasional use. Follow the instructions for the actual filling; a solid insert does not need the same fluffing as loose shredded fill. If redistribution no longer helps, check the condition of the insert and ask about suitable maintenance options.
