Use HSA/FSA Funds on Eligible Products

1. Add an eligible product to your cart.
2. Go through the standard checkout, not Shop Pay or another express button. Express checkouts skip the payment-method step where Truemed lives.
3. Select Truemed as the payment method and complete a brief intake.
4. An independent licensed provider reviews it. If you qualify, you get a Letter of Medical Necessity and pay with your HSA/FSA card on the spot.

The intake takes a few minutes. Truemed estimates an average saving of about 30% because you're spending pre-tax dollars; your actual saving depends on your tax bracket.

What's eligible

Sleep and positioning. Buckwheat, millet, latex and kapok pillows for neck pain and cervical support; an HSA/FSA eligible neck roll pillow; the Sleeping Bean and maternity pillow for back, hip and pregnancy support; dust-mite-proof protectors for allergies.

Timing

FSA balances usually expire at the end of the plan year; some plans add a short grace period or let you carry a limited amount over. HSA balances roll over indefinitely. If you're spending down an FSA in December, order by mid-month so the purchase posts before your deadline.
