Overall rating: 4.9 / 5 from 238 reviews.
Wonderful replacement and upgrade to inhumane down or toxic foam! Soft, but not too soft - just right - kapok fill for my throw pillows. Love them!
Love Bean Pillows! I've purchased several different pillow inserts from a handful of brands and Bean is by far my favorite. You pay more, but it's worth it. This is my second Bean pillow insert and I am beyond satisfied with my purchase. I bought my first Bean pillow insert about a year ago and it's as comfortable as it was on the first day. Notes: no chemical smell; fully stuffed and yet the perfect fluff.
Funny that these pillows are all natural but come in a plastic bag then super wrapped with packing tape for some strange reason. I guess all natural is just a benefit to the customer but not to the planet... Then the pillows could use more filling. I ordered extra kapok to fill them up more since kapok compresses and doesn't fluff up very easily. I would have felt much better about the purchase if they came in plastic free packaging which I was half expecting.
The pillows themselves would have earned a "5" from me. They are very well-constructed and beautiful. As someone who cares about the environment and the other living beings with whom we share the planet, I was delighted to find pillows made of 100% organic, natural, non-allergenic, and no animal-sourced materials. The reason my rating is a "4" is the packaging. I was very disappointed to find my natural, environmentally-friendly pillows wrapped in so much single-use tape and plastic bags that would have been single-use had I not taken a lot of time to carefully remove all the tape. I hope Bean Products will come up with a more environmentally-friendly way to package their beautiful products!
I love that these are organic. I feel good about my kids laying and sleeping on them. They are soft and high quality. This is the second time we've purchased these pillows.
Arrived somewhat smelly and musty. I had to take out the stuffing and sun dry it for a while. Pillows are understaffed and I had to buy an extra bag of filling, which again I had to shred myself and insert. The whole thing is a mess. For this price I would have expected a complete product instead of a DIY craft project. Nobody should buy this.
Pillow had less fill than expected; it was pretty flat. They sent me more fill free of charge! Love that the pillows are sustainable but there is so much plastic and tape in the shipping, it almost defeats the purpose.
Pillows are wonderful -- firm but yet somehow soft at the same time. I haven't used them for very long but so far I am happy with my purchase. Shipping was fast but the package seemed to strangely get stuck at Fed Ex.
I was a little worried about what a kapok filled pillow would feel like, but it is so sturdy and soft. The filling doesn't clump or break apart. I love that you can remove the filling to wash the case as I've got kids and accidents happen.
I wanted a square size with sustainable material that actually supported my head without the inside stuffing being displaced. I ordered the 16 x16 and it is perfect for me. Well constructed with the option of removing or adding stuffing to suit preferences this pillow exceeds my expectations. The seller shipped fast - thank you.
I love these pillows! They are fluffy and firm. I would definitely recommend, they are SO worth the money! So much better than cheap poly-filler junk you find in stores.
Very comfy pillow! When I press down it squashed and rose similar to down! Once I put my head on it I actually ending up napping. Its a lovely pillow, made with quality materials. Love the thickness of the pillowcase that comes with it. So nice to know I have a natural pillow that feels nice and looks nice. I recommend it to any eco conscious people who wont compromise quality or comfort! Enjoy
Very fast delivery and so nice to find natural and organic pillow forms. I bought the kapok filled pillow form and it's very comfortable. I actually took some of the kapok out, which is another nice feature - you can make it as firm or soft as you like.
